Bone dry in Alsace, off-dry in the Mosel, lusciously sweet in the Rheingau, crackling with acid in Austria — same grape, completely different animal depending on who's growing it and where. This is a proper workshop-style tasting: we taste, we compare, we pull it apart.
We'll work through expressions from at least four different regions, covering the full spectrum from steely and electric to rich and honeyed. You'll understand why serious wine people obsess over this grape — and you'll leave with a completely new mental map of what Riesling can be.
